Abstract: In an increasingly secular society we should still be aware that we look after people with spiritual needs, writes Steven Black. Indeed, we may be caring for people with different spiritual beliefs from our own. With this in mind, the Department of Health has produced best practice guidance on chaplaincy and spiritual care provision for all NHS trusts.
