Abstract: Abstract The relationship between spinnability and composition of poly(vinyl alcohol)/polyacrylonitrile block copolymer emulsions prepared by an ultrasonic technique is presented. Theoretical analysis and experimental investigation by multiple techniques show that the micellar structure characteristics of the block copolymer emulsions and the behavior of emulsion in shear flowing and coagulating in spinning process are the key factors affecting the spinnability.
