Abstract: A 49-year-old man with lower extremity neuropathic pain thought to be caused by spinal cord syringomyelia was treated with a combination of using spinal cord stimulation, decompression of the syrinx, relief of arachnoid adhesions and microsurgical DREZotomy. The patient had significant pain relief and has stable neurological status at follow-up.
