Object detection plays a vital role in the fields of computer vision, machine learning, and artificial intelligence applications (such as FUSE-AI (E-healthcare MRI scan), face detection, people counting, and vehicle detection) to identify good and defective food products. In the field of artificial intelligence, target detection has been at its peak, but when it comes to detecting multiple targets in a single image or video file, there are indeed challenges. This article focuses on the improved K-nearest neighbor (MK-NN) algorithm for electronic medical care to realize intelligent medical services and applications. We introduced modifications to improve the efficiency of MK-NN, and a comparative analysis was performed to determine the best fuse target detection algorithm based on robustness, accuracy, and computational time. The comparative analysis is performed using four algorithms, namely, MK-NN, traditional K-NN, convolutional neural network, and backpropagation. Experimental results show that the improved K-NN algorithm is the best model in terms of robustness, accuracy, and computational time.

Internet of Things (IoT) is the utmost assuring framework to facilitate human life with quality and comfort. IoT has contributed significantly to numerous application areas. The stormy expansion of smart devices and their credence for data transfer using wireless mechanics boost their susceptibility to cyberattacks. Consequently, the cybercrime rate is increasing day by day. Hence, the study of IoT security threats and possible corrective measures can benefit researchers in identifying appropriate solutions to deal with various challenges in cybercrime investigation. IoT forensics plays a vital role in cybercrime investigations. This review paper presents an overview of the IoT framework consisting of IoT architecture, protocols, and technologies. Various security issues at each layer and corrective measures are also discussed in detail. This paper also presents the role of IoT forensics in cybercrime investigation in various domains like smart homes, smart cities, automated vehicles, and healthcare. The role of advanced technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing, edge computing, fog computing, and blockchain technology in cybercrime investigation is also discussed. Lastly, various open research challenges in IoT to assist cybercrime investigation are explained to provide a new direction for further research.

Physical layer security (PLS) is an emerging area for information security against eavesdroppers (Eve). Information security of any system can also be improved by using friendly jammers that produce interference signals to Eve. Traditional security techniques are limited by the processing power of the wireless nodes, whereas PLS can achieve communication secrecy without requiring computationally expensive cryptographic operations. The relay networks have emerged as a promising technology to enhance the performance of the wireless systems. This paper proposes a joint resource optimization framework for the PLS of dual-hop decode and forward (DF) relay network with and without cooperative jamming. In particular, the proposed framework consists of a base station (BS), multiple users, DF relays, multiple subcarriers, and an Eve. Our objective is to maximize the sum secrecy rate (SR) through optimal power loading over different subcarriers at BS and relay nodes, and efficient subcarrier assignment. We formulate a mixed binary integer programing problem for secrecy optimization and adopt Lagrangian dual method to achieve the efficient solutions. We also provide three benchmark frameworks, i.e., joint power optimization with random subcarrier assignment, equal power allocation with efficient subcarrier assignment and equal power with random subcarrier assignment to guage the performance of our joint resource optimization framework. Simulation results unveil that the proposed joint resource optimization framework under cooperative jamming and without jamming performs significantly better than the benchmark frameworks.
