Spatial orientation in patients with chronic unilateral vestibular hypofunction is ipsilesionally distorted

Abstract: OBJECTIVE Acute unilateral peripheral-vestibular hypofunction (UVH) shifts the subjective visual vertical (SVV) ipsilesionally, triggering central compensation that usually eliminates shifts when upright.
