Space configuration and learning comfort; a case study of Federal University of Technology Minna lecture halls

Abstract: This research pursuit the objectives of testing and measuring the level of indoor environmental quality in the lecture theatres across the university; analysing the challenges of the learning component that affects the learning process and appraise the learning space configuration that best suits the learning process of the students in various lecture halls. This research employed empirical research method involving questionnaires and scientific measurement of the acoustic level, thermal comfort level, lightin… Show more

“…In the use of biomimetic approaches in terms of thermoregulation, plants interacting with the environment thanks to dynamic movements and orientations, despite their static structure, constitute examples of physiological, morphological and behavioral dynamical interactions and become a source of inspiration for the provision and development of thermoregulation. In this context, the morphological approach that proposes to make the facade from static to dynamic is the most effective method of biomimetic approaches, and biomimetic studies are mostly on the geometric transformation (transformation) that a system allows morphologically [23] [31] [32].…”

“…Teacher training is a complex whole that contains many features such as content, method, material, purpose, place and time (Woodward, 1996: 139;Alfa, Medayese & Owoyale, 2019). The use of technology in teaching activities is effective when the skill is developed in teacher education.…”
