Sorghum Drought Tolerance is Associated with Deeper Root System and Decreased Transpiration Rate

Abstract: Drought decreases grain yield of sorghum [Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench], and understanding the mechanism(s) related to drought tolerance is critical for sustaining sorghum production.
