Das vorkommen einer Aktivität verschiedener Enzyme, nämlich: saurer Phosphatasen, unspezifischer Esterasen, β‐Glucuronidasen, Ribonukleasen und proteolytischer Enzyme auf der Hautoberfläche konnte wahrscheinlich gemacht werden. Diesen Enzymen sind wesentliche biologische Funktionen zuzuordnen, wie der Abbau von Nukleinsäuren, der Umbau von Fetten, der Umbau von Eiweißkörpern und der Umbau von Polysaccharid‐Komplexen. Auf die Bedeutung dieser Enzyme für die lokale Therapie der Haut wird besonders hingewiesen.
