Sliding mode output feedback control for continuous systems without rank constraint

Abstract: Summary This paper addresses the sliding mode control problem for continuous systems in the output feedback framework. To remove the conventional rank constraint imposed on the input and output matrices, a novel compensator‐based sliding surface is proposed firstly.
