Abstract: The sliding mode control (SMC) scheme is proposed for near space vehicles (NSVs) with strong nonlinearity, high coupling, parameter uncertainty, and unknown time-varying disturbance based on radial basis function neural networks (RBFNNs) and the nonlinear disturbance observer (NDO).
