Abstract: Clinicians need to be aware of sinking skin flap syndrome and to look for abnormal neurological developments in patients with craniectomy in order to avoid unnecessary testing and to prevent its occurrence. Accordingly, cranioplasty can be undertaken as soon as necessary.
