“…3 Therefore, it is very important to improve the flame retardancy of TPU. [4][5][6][7] At present, the traditional flame retardants used for TPU include halogen flame retardants, phosphorus flame retardants, etc. 8,9 Halogen flame retardants are more popular in flame-retardant TPU because of the high flame-retardant efficiency, moderate price, and variety. However, halogen flame retardants will release corrosive gases such as halogenated hydrogen and a large amount of smoke under high temperature or open fire, which will bring great harm to the human body and the environment.…”

“…It can be seen from Figure , there are two obvious absorption peaks at approximately 1365 and 1595 cm −1 in the char residue of PUE, α‐ZrP/PUE, ZIF‐8/PUE, and ZIF‐8/α‐ZrP/PUE, which are referred to as the D and G peaks, respectively. The D peak represents the symmetrical carbon atom vibration of amorphous carbon structure, and the G peak represents the symmetric stretching vibration of the sp2 hybrid atom in the graphite lattice . Usually, the degree of graphitization of char residue is expressed by I D /I G .…”

If the ratio of I D /I G is smaller, the degree of graphitization of char residue is higher, and the thermal stability of char residue is better.…”

“…With attractive characteristic features like good solvent, chemical and corrosion resistance, low shrinkage on cure, high mechanical and tensile strength and modulus, excellent dimensional stability, high adhesion to substrates, good moisture resistance and superior electrical properties, epoxy resins (EPs) are some of the most important thermosetting resins in various fields like adhesives, laminates, paints, composites, surface coatings, potting materials and encapsulants for semiconductor and insulating materials in the electrical and electronic industries . However, one of the main disadvantages is the flammability of EPs, restricting their use.…”
