Silica nanospheres KCC-1 as a good catalyst for the preparation of 2-amino-4H-chromenes by ultrasonic irradiation

Abstract: Fibrous nano-silica sphere (KCC-1) has appeared as a good and efficient catalyst for ultrasonic irradiation conditions in chemical reactions. This catalyst has the unique properties such as a fibrous surface morphology, high surface area and high mechanical stability. The results indicated that the KCC-1 nanocatalyst could be used as high-performance catalysts under high temperature and pressure condition in organic reaction under ultrasonic irradiation. Morphology, structure, and composition of the fibrous na… Show more

“…2 c). The porous silica-based material is often found to have good thermal stability indicated by no degradation occurring above 200 °C up to 600 °C, which was also found by Oboudatian and Safaei-Ghomi 43 . The MSN-AmEA, on contrary, has three degradation profiles, clearly revealed in Fig.…”

“…X-ray diffraction ( Figure 2H ) and FTIR ( Figure 2I ) showed the DMON and DMON@Cur structural characteristics spectroscopy. As shown in the XRD patterns ( Figure 2H ), characteristic diffraction peaks of amorphous SiO 2 within 15°–30° for mesoporous silica and the main diffraction peaks of curcumin appeared at 2θ = 17–28°( Ou et al, 2018 ; Oboudatian and Safaei-Ghomi, 2022 ). The FTIR ( Figure 2I ) showed the typical peaks of the DMON could be observed in the region of 1092–1150 cm −1 , reflecting the Si–O–Si asymmetric stretching vibration, Si–O–Si peak was observed at 812 cm −1 , which represented the symmetric stretching vibration.…”

“…The porous silica-based material is often found to have good thermal stability in which there is no degradation occurred within high temperature (in this experiment was up to 600 °C), which is also found by Oboudatian and Safaei-Ghomi. 37 The MSN-AmEA, on contrary, has three degradation pro les, clearly revealed in Figure 2(c). The rst degradation is related to the loss of 23% of water molecules.…”
