Short‐term efficacy of ultrasonically nebulized hypertonic saline in cystic fibrosis

Abstract: Progressive lung disease in patients with cystic fibrosis (CF) is caused by thick secretions, which cause airway obstruction and subsequent colonization and infection by inhaled pathogenic microorganisms.
