Shape‐Selective Synthesis of Palladium Nanoparticles Stabilized by Highly Branched Amphiphilic Polymers

Abstract: Despite the current broad interest in such materials, the synthesis of defined structures in the size range of 10 nm to ca. 1 μm (“mesoscopic”) is challenging. Few routes shape‐selectively afford geometrically regular structures, other than the typical spherical metal particles of 1 to 10 nm. Exaggerated anticipatory anxiety is common in social anxiety disorder (SAD). Neuroimaging studies have revealed altered neural activity in response to social stimuli in SAD, but fewer studies have examined neural activity during anticipation of feared social stimuli in SAD. The current study examined the time course and magnitude of activity in threat processing brain regions during speech anticipation in socially anxious individuals and healthy controls (HC).
