Reconstructing supersymmetric contribution to muon anomalous magnetic dipole moment at ILC

We study the possibility to determine the supersymmetric (SUSY) contribution to the muon anomalous magnetic dipole moment by using ILC measurements of the properties of superparticles. Assuming that the contribution is as large as the current discrepancy between the result of the Brookhaven E821 experiment and the standardmodel prediction, we discuss how and how accurately the SUSY contribution can be reconstructed. We will show that, in a sample point, the reconstruction can be performed with the accuracy of ∼ 13 % with the center-of-mass energy 500 GeV and the integrated luminosity ∼ 500-1000 fb −1 .

Hunting for scalar lepton partners at future electron colliders

New physics close to the electroweak scale is well motivated by a number of theoretical arguments. However, colliders, most notably the Large Hadron Collider, have failed to deliver evidence for physics beyond the Standard Model. One possibility for how new electroweak-scale particles could have evaded detection so far is if they carry only electroweak charge, i.e., are color neutral. Future e þ e − colliders are prime tools to study such new physics. Here, we investigate the sensitivity of e þ e − colliders to scalar partners of the charged leptons, known as sleptons in supersymmetric extensions of the Standard Model. In order to allow such scalar lepton partners to decay, we consider models with an additional neutral fermion, which in supersymmetric models corresponds to a neutralino. We demonstrate that future e þ e − colliders would be able to probe most of the kinematically accessible parameter space, i.e., where the mass of the scalar lepton partner is less than half of the collider's center-of-mass energy, with only a few days of data. Besides constraining more general models, this would allow to probe some well motivated dark matter scenarios in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model, in particular the incredible bulk and stau coannihilation scenarios.

We propose an effective description of squark interactions with charginos/neutralinos. We recompute the strong corrections to squark partial decay widths, and compare the full one-loop computation with the effective description. The effective description includes the effective Yukawa couplings, and another logarithmic term which encodes the supersymmetry-breaking. The proposed effective couplings reproduce correctly the radiative-corrected partial decay widths of the squark decays into charginos and neutralinos in all relevant regions of the parameter space.
