However, the wide use of PCV7 has increased the prevalence of non-vaccine serotypes in many countries [10][11][12]. Also, a study examining serotype distribution in Korea revealed that the number of IPD-causing non-vaccine serotypes increased 1.5-fold from 1999 to 2002 [13].…”
