Self-reported race and zip code by men with prostate cancer in New York City and association with access to PSMA PET scans.

Abstract: e17007 Background: Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) is overexpressed on most prostate cancers (PCs), a fact that has been exploited to perform both targeted imaging and treatment. PSMA-based PET imaging allows for more sensitive detection of PC and can be useful even in the context of negative CT and bone scans.
