Selective striatal neuronal loss in a YAC128 mouse model of Huntington disease

Abstract: An expanded CAG repeat is the underlying genetic defect in Huntington disease, a disorder characterized by motor, psychiatric and cognitive deficits and striatal atrophy associated with neuronal loss.
