eLearning to improve prescribing safety in primary care

Abstract

Prescribing errors in UK general practice are common and have a substantial impact on morbidity and mortality. In this article, Richard Knox and Gill Gookey describe the development of an interactive eLearning package for primary care prescribers designed to improve prescribing safety, and discuss its evaluation by users.
