Abstract: BackgroundMicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of 19–23 nucleotides long non-coding RNAs that post-transcriptionally regulate the activity of target mRNAs.MicroRNAs are involved in cartilage homeostasis and play an important role in the pathogenesis of osteoarthritis (OA).
