Abstract: Introduction: Hyperphosphatemia has been found to be consistently associated with increased chances of secondary hyperparathyroidism, vascular and valvular calcification, calciphylaxis and cardiovascular morbidity and mortality in end stage renal disease (ESRD) patients.
