“…We cannot state, therefore, whether brain, cord and nerves in this disease may show lymphoid infiltrations such as we have described in fowl paralysis. That such infiltrations may be found in human leucemias, is well known; 30 such cases have recently been collected from the literature by Fried (23). That they cannot involve the peripheral nerves to the degree found in the paralysis of chickens, is obvious from the absence of neuritic symptoms in leucemic birds.…”
