Two patients had cutaneous and pulmonar lesions; one of them showed epithelioid granulomas affecting two tattoos and another patient (a 54‐year‐old woman) suffered reactivation of an old scar on the chin, as in our case.…”

Interferon-induced sarcoidosis

Cutaneous sarcoidosis developing after treatment with pegylated interferon and ribavirin: a new case and review of the literature

In our literature research (Table 1), we have found 53 patients, including our patient, who developed sarcoidosis after IFN‐α therapy for HCV, 22 (41.5%) were males, 31 (58.5%) were females 1–5,7,10–39 . The median age of these patients was 49.7 years.…”
