Abstract: Background: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a systemic disease that causes progressive joint damage and disability.Inflammatory cytokines, including tumor necrosis factor (TNF), and IL-6, which are mainly produced bymacrophages, play a central role in the development of synovitis.
