Role of ABC Proteins in Secondary Metabolism and Immune (= Defensive) Response in Seaweeds

Abstract: Laurencia seaweed species synthesize a broad range of secondary metabolites mainly terpenes, such as the elatol exhibiting ecological roles, such as defense against fouling and herbivores.
