Rodinia palaeogeography: Laurentia as the geological ‘Key’

Abstract: Laurentia, core of the North American continent, is surrounded by Neoproterozoic to Cambrian rifted margins. This led to early suggestions that it was located within a Neoproterozoic supercontinent, Rodinia.
