“…For what concerns the last point, ZIF-8 has recently been reported to catalyze the carbonation of epichlorohydrin to chloropropene carbonate [33] and the carbonation of styrene oxide to styrene carbonate [34], in the absence of a co-catalyst or solvents, unlike other MOFs [13,35,36].
