“…AKI following hip fracture has multi-factorial causes. Baseline renal function, age, comorbidities, dehydration, nephrotoxic drugs, and malnutrition are documented risk factors for AKI [ 2 , 3 , 8 , 13 , 17 , 21 , 31 ].
