Abstract: Abstract Linear thermotropic liquid crystalline polymers based on two bisphenol monomers and terephthaloyldichloride were prepared via melt polymerization. Fibers from liquid crystalline polymers were spun above the mesophase transition temperature. In this work, the mechanical and morphological properties of fibers based on such polymers were studied.
