Reset PID Design for Motion Systems With Stribeck Friction

Abstract: We present a reset control approach to achieve setpoint regulation of a motion system with a proportionalintegral-derivative (PID) based controller, subject to Coulomb friction and a velocity-weakening (Stribeck) contribution.
