Research on a square wave interior permanent magnet synchronous motor for pure electric vehicles based on a global integrated matching design method

Abstract

This paper deals with a square wave interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) for pure electric vehicles. Firstly, a global integrated matching design concept is proposed which emphasizes the regional performance analysis. On this basis the performance indexes are determined to meet the power requirements of a two-seater pure electric car at different driving speed.
