Research of Heat Rates Effect on the Process Of Fuel-Bed Gasification Of “Balakhtinskoe”, “Osinnikovskoe”, “Krasnogorskoe” and “Borodinskoe” Coal Deposits

Abstract: Abstract. Experimental research of fuel-bed gasification at different heating rates was conducted. Release of four gases (CO, NO, H2O, CO2) was determined. Optimal heating rate mode for this method of gasification was established.

“…Technical and energy characteristics of three composite fuels have been determined experimentally [9][10]. Samples of 3B grade coal (Balakhtinskoe deposit, particle size less than 80 microns), fine sawdust and flour industry waste (particle size less than 200 microns) were mixed in different volume concentrations in a galvanized drum of Pulverisette 6 planetary mill with spherical grinding bodies with 5 mm diameter at required volume ratios.…”

“…High wear of public infrastructure is a current problem for many regions in Russia [5]. The work on heat networks and boiler systems modernization does not only allow to prevent areal communal fail but also leads to the increase of energy efficiency -old equipment is replaced with the new one with improved performance [6][7].…”

“…While energy consumption is expected to increase by 35 % to 2035 year the share of coal generation is expected to be significant and has a value close to 25 % [1]. Such decrease is seem to appear due to economic and ecological issues connected to coal usage like carbon, sulfur and nitrogen oxide emissions, lower efficiency compared to combined cycle for natural gas and solid particles in flue gases [2].…”
