Abstract: Objetivo: identificar requisitos de autocuidado de mulheres transexuais em uso de hormônios sexuais, fundamentadona Teoria Geral de Orem. Método: estudo descritivo-exploratório com abordagem qualitativa, desenvolvidoem Recife, capital de Pernambuco, de novembro de 2016 a fevereiro de 2017.
