Abstract: Both the imbalance of neuronal excitation and inhibition, and the network disorganization may lead to hyperactivity in epilepsy. However, the insufficiency of seizure data poses the challenge of elucidating the network mechanisms behind the frequent and recurrent abnormal discharges.
