Repair of an iatrogenic aortoatrial fistula

Abstract: A patient with uncommon potential to contain the extraluminal path of an aortic perforation, due to adhesions from previous operation, survived perforation of the ascending aorta and creation of an aortoatrial fistula at cardiac catheterization. The method of repair is described and discussed herein.
