Abstract: We present a patient with a low-grade glioma restricted to the 'face area' of the left primary motor cortex. Little is known about functional consequences of surgery within this specific part of the brain. After surgery there were only mild and transient deficits. We suggest that original functions had already reorganized to direct perilesional areas.
