Renal Adenoma

Abstract: The histological and clinical picture of renal adenomas is described and 5 cases reported. This tumor presents either as an incidentally found lesion on autopsy or operation, or as a large, mostly solitary lesion causing symptoms. One should think of an adenoma if there is a solid, avascular, well-confind, space-occupying lesion in the kidney. If possible conservative surgery should be carried out. The outcome for patients with this disease is good.
