This descriptive research examines the impact of using religious ideology in electoral politics on interfaith harmony and tolerance in Indonesia, focusing on the 2024 presidential election. This research aims to investigate how political candidates use social media to mobilize religious ideology and its effect on public opinion and electoral outcomes. Secondary data were collected through a comprehensive literature review, analyzing recent elections, content analysis of social media posts, patterns in social media engagement, the effectiveness of existing interfaith dialogue initiatives, and the role of misinformation, hate speech, and hoaxes related to religious ideology in electoral politics. The study found that the use of religious ideology in electoral politics has the potential to negatively impact harmony and tolerance among religious communities in Indonesia. Social media plays a crucial role in the mobilization of religious ideology by political candidates. The combination of religious ideology and social media usage may exacerbate existing interfaith tensions and further polarize the political landscape in Indonesia. The research concludes by recommending that citizens need to have a moderate understanding of religion, understand digital literacy, and always be wise in using social media with a filtering culture before sharing. This study aims to delve into the building harmony of interfaith families in Jetis, Hargomulyo, Gedangsari, Gunung Kidul Yogyakarta. It explores how the family ensures rights and obligations, educates children, provides freedom of worship and maintains relations with the family and the surrounding communities. In addition, it also explains how Islam views the harmony of families of interfaith couples. The results showed that the people of Jetis kampong attempted to fulfill their rights and obligations properly, such as the provision of proper livelihoods, not less and not excessive, although the level of fairness of each individual is different from one person to another. In terms of religion, the couples were able to carry out religious activities separately; they mutually support one another by creating tolerance in the family. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan praktek pembentukan keluarga harmonis pasangan keluarga beda agama di Dusun Jetis, Hargomulyo, Gedangsari, Gunung Kidul Yogyakarta, yang meliputi bagaimana pemenuhan hak dan kewajiban, bagaimana pendidikan anak, bagaimana kebebasan beribadah dan bagaimana relasi dengan keluarga maupun masyarakat sekitar, serta menjelaskan bagaimana tinjauan Islam terhadap keharmonisan keluarga pasangan beda agama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Dusun Jetis dalam praktek pembentukan keluarga harmonis dilihat dari segi pemenuhan hak dan kewajiban sudah terpenuhi dengan baik, serta dalam hal keagamaan keduanya mampu menjalankan aktivitas keagamaan secara terpisah namun saling mendukung antara satu dengan yang lainnya dengan memunculkan sikap toleransi dalam keluarga.

This research is to determine the role of Religious Harmony Forum (FKUB) based on regulation of the Minister which was in conducting dialogue with religious organizations and community leaders and efforts to maintain interreligious harmony in Palangka Raya. This research is a case study using a qualitative approach with data collection by interview and observation. Results of this research prove that religious harmony in Palangka Raya is running well and it is based on the fact that in its city almost never happened such as significant religious conflicts. Religious harmony is based on a harmonious relationship by visiting each other in religious activities and social activities. Meanwhile, the role of the Forum for Religious Harmony has carried out its duties and responsibilities properly through the socialization of government regulations and other programs and has served as an extension of the religious community to convey aspirations to the government.
