“…There are 4n f +4M ·n f unknown variables and 4n f +4M ·n f equations in the model (consisting of Equations (10), (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (16), (18), (19), (20) or (21)). These equations are in a closed system, so we can solve this problem.…”

“…Ozkan et al [11] studied the effect of pressure drop within the horizontal section on horizontal-well responses, investigated the flux and pressure distributions along the length of the well and discussed the validity of the infinite conductivity assumption. Horne et al [12] developed analytical or semi-analytical models to describe the inflow performance and transient pressure behavior of a horizontal well with multiple hydraulic fractures and this model could be used to compare the relative productivities of multiple fractures. Lian et al [13,14] developed a reservoir model coupled with fractured horizontal well according to Green function and Newman's product principle in which the pressure drop function of the vertical-fractured horizontal well in unsteady state was concluded.…”

“…Horne and Temeng considered the interference among the fractures via the superposition of influence functions [19]. Zerzar and Bettam combined the boundary element method and Laplace transformation to deal with interaction of reservoir flow and fracture flow [20].…”

“…Therefore, the governing equation of every media can be derived; however, the interference among hydraulic fractures is ignored. Some scholars, including Nashawi (2006), Hegre (1991, 1994), Guo and Evans (1993), Horne and Temeng (1995), Chen and Rajagopal (1997), presented some transient analytical solutions in Laplace domain for the fracturing horizontal well with multiple finite conductivity by using sink-source integral. Some other scholars, including Al-Kobaisi and Ozkan (2004), Valk and Amini (2007), Brown et al (2011), coped with this issue using numerical difference method.…”
