ÁREA 5.7 -Competências e capacitações das empresasRelação entre dimensões da capacidade de absorção de empresas e "serviços" demandados na interação com universidades Palavras-chave: Capacidade de absorção da firma, canais de troca de conhecimento e informação, interação universidade-empresaRelationship between firm's absorptive capacity dimensions and demanded "services" in an interaction with universities ABSTRACT This paper investigates the interaction between dimensions of Absorptive Capacity (AC) -acquisition, assimilation, transformation and exploitation -with channels for information and knowledge exchange related with "services" that firms can demand in their interaction with universities. From information collected recently (2015)(2016) in firms that interacted with universities and the use of Principal Categorical Component's method to analyze the data it was possible to infer that: (1) companies that interact via consulting or patents licensing have higher assimilation capabilities; (2) firms that interact via course or training have greater transformation capabilities; (3) firms which buy a research have less assimilation and transformation capabilities; (4) companies that interact trough incubators or technology parks do not have different AC.
