“…37,44 Only 9 studies scored 10 or more on any single intervention(Supplementary S1). 29,33,34,3739,44,45,49 The average TiDer score for a given bundle component was 5.7, ranging from 8.2 for systems and workflow interventions to 3.0 for proton pump inhibitor stewardship. Most interventions had an average TiDier score between 5 and 7.…”

“…It is difficult to assess the effectiveness of EWR as reducing CDI is multifactorial. 6 Ideally the increased resource provided in managing CDI would lead to both a reduction in numbers and a reduction in associated mortality. Although we had successfully managed to reduce the incidence of CDI in our hospital, 6 since introducing the EWR local mortality data for CDI have demonstrated a reduction in 30 day CDI-associated mortality from 24% to 14% (Fig.…”

“…4 The pathophysiology of rubella encephalitis is still debated with two possible mechanisms: Direct viral invasion and an immune mediated response. 5,6 Rubella virus has been known pantropic to nerve cells and has the ability to spread through the nervous system. 5 Clinical features can involve agitation, confusion unconsciousness and seizures.…”

“…diffogenic' agents (CDAs), to the current epidemic of CDI has been recognised from a variety of studies [13][14][15][16][17][18]. This information and evidence linking the high-level impact of antibiotic restriction combined with strict infection control measures in controlling hospital CDI outbreaks [19][20][21][22][23] supported the development and implementation of national guidance on restriction of CDA antibiotics. Our first national guidance document was M a n u s c r i p t …”
