Reduced fetal, placental, and amniotic fluid PTHrP in the growth-restricted spontaneously hypertensive rat

Abstract: Evidence implicates pivotal roles for parathyroid hormone-related protein (PTHrP) in stimulating cell growth and differentiation, placental calcium transport, and placental vasodilatation.
