“…Following the finding that Eodiscoglossus , to which a Bathonian (Middle Jurassic) species has been referred that forms the basis for the original minimum age, is probably not a costatan (Báez, 2013; Báez and Gómez, 2016, 2019), the oldest purported lalagobatrachian/bombinanuran is the poorly known Enneabatrachus from a site dated to 152.51 ± 0.47 Ma (Trujillo et al, 2015), which has never been included in a phylogenetic analysis.
