Rare ectopic thyroid as bilateral multiple pulmonary nodules: a case report and literature review

Abstract: Background: The prevalence of ectopic thyroid tissue is 1 in every 100,000 to 300,000 persons in the general population, and ectopic thyroid in the bilateral lung lobes is even rarer.
