Abstract: Raman studies have been performed on KCI:OH-and KBr:OH-crystals between 2 K and room temperature. They provide additional information about previously measured infrared bands near 30 . cm ~ I, 300 cm -I, and 3600-4000 cm -I. The 300 cm -I band, its weak satellites, and its combination bands with the O-H stretching mode can be seen in Raman spectra only below 100 K.
