Abstract: A number of radiological techniques are available for the evaluation of the injured athlete. In this chapter each technique will be considered in turn. The technique will be explained first in terms of technical aspects together with variations on the basic theme. Then the strengths and weaknesses of each technique will be described together with specific clinical uses.
