Quasistatic solutions of elliptical coplanar waveguides
Abstract: Fast, accurate, and simple closed‐form expressions are presented for calculating the quasistatic TEM parameters of elliptical coplanar waveguides. The effect of the elliptical curvature of the present CPW structure on the line parameters is investigated by using the formulas derived by conformal mapping techniques. It has been shown that both the eccentricity and the parameter p=a2−a1 lead to a significant change of the quasi‐TEM parameters. Comparisons are also made between the present results and the results…
