Quantitative evaluation of coronary artery occlusion by 3D coronary volume reconstruction in a large animal model of acute myocardial infarction

Abstract: Background Large animal models of acute myocardial infarction (MI) offer an important platform to test novel therapies. Consistency of infarct size between animals is critical to ensure an accurate assessment of therapies against control.
