Quantifying the Effects of Visual Road Information on Drivers’ Speed Choices to Promote Self-Explaining Roads

Abstract: Roads should deliver appropriate information to drivers and thus induce safer driving behavior. This concept is also known as “self-explaining roads” (SERs).
